Personal Physician
Grappling with the difficult reality of in-home care is a struggle for many modern families. To ease their responsibility, I conceptualized sana; a virtual physician who can locate and organize medical records, provide virtual consultations, track diagnoses, and communicate directly with primary care physicians.

My Inspiration
My grandma is 97. She lived in NYC as a second generation immigrant. She lived all over the country, raised 9 kids, and was a beast at bowling and Irish dancing. She’s survived breast cancer, a few serious strokes, a couple tumbles, and a double-whammy of Covid and pneumonia. But she says it was only in her 95th year of life that she began feeling old. Covid has been excruciatingly isolating and she's only been able to leave her house twice since the beginning of the pandemic.
While all of my projects are rooted in empathetic solutions, sana originated from a uniquely personal place. My grandma requires regular check-ups, but bringing her to the doctor has grown increasingly risky. I wanted to create something that could be utilized throughout the pandemic and beyond. With my grandma as my primary inspiration, I ultimately took a much broader approach and developed a platform that offers deeper reform to existing healthcare standards.
